Front Cover Photo Shoot

The front cover of my magazine will be advertising a "new" girl duet group called 'Dynamic Duo.' As the magazine is targeted at such a young age group, I want my front cover to look somewhat inspirational. Young people often look up to celebrities and idolise their fortune such as their houses, clothes and cars. I wanted to created this image on my front cover so have decided that I want a 'posh' car featured on the front with the duet group leaning on it. To do this, today I took photographs of my friend Ana who in return, took photos of me. We posed as if we were leaning on something so that I can cut around the images and place it next to a photograph of a car that I took at the 'British Motor Show' (which featured cars such as Ferrari and Lamborghini). I would then edit these photos by adding shadows to make it seem more realistic that we are really leaning on the car. As it was hard to position ourselves in a 'leaning pose,' we also had some alternate close-up photos taken together by one of my group member's (Aakash) so if the original idea does not work out as well as I would like it to, I will have a back-up plan.
